About the Journal
African Journal of Radiology and Imaging (AFJRI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually by Bioscience Press. The journal is dedicated to advancing excellence in diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and imaging sciences. The journal serves as a global platform for radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, medical physicists, imaging scientists, clinicians, biomedical engineers, and healthcare researchers to disseminate high-quality scientific knowledge that improves disease diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes.
AFJRI is committed to publishing rigorous, innovative, and clinically relevant research that reflects the latest developments in medical imaging technologies, image-guided interventions, radiation safety, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine.
AFJRI follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics, transparency, and research integrity. Journal Policy
All submissions to the African Research Journal of Biosciences are first checked for extensiveness before being sent to an Editor, who decides whether they are suitable for peer review or not. Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the established guidelines. Failure to follow them may result in papers being rejected. All papers are subjected to double-blind peer review. When making a decision, Editors will consider the peer-reviewed reports. Peer review reports are sent to authors along with the editorial decision on their manuscript. All articles published in this journal represent the opinion of the authors and do not reflect the official policy of the African Journal of Radiology and Imaging.
Manuscript submission and evaluation
Manuscripts must be solely the work of the author(s) stated, must not have been previously published elsewhere, and must not be under consideration by another journal. All submissions are checked by the journal editorial team to ensure that they conform to the paper requirements outlined on the guidelines to authors page of the journal’s website, such as paper length, the standard of the English language, format of figures and tables, referencing style, etc. are considered. If the submission does not meet the journal’s criteria the submission will be dropped, and the authors asked to resubmit after addressing the issues.
All articles for this journal must be submitted using our online submission system. In case any online issues occurred, submit the paper electronically to editor@afjri.com.
